There are two huge problems with fresh water on earth. One, fresh clean drinking water is being taken from its source faster than it can be replenished, stolen from its people who need clean water to survive and bottled to be sold to the wealthy who would rather not drink their own tap water. Two, much of our fresh clean water is no longer clean. We are contaminating our fresh water supplies at a rapid rate.
As usual, it’s all about greed. Water should be nothing more than a basic human right, a close second to the air we breathe. But the water industry, the world’s third largest, clearly chooses profit over the future of the entire human race.
We knew much of what this film has to say, and yet we learned more than we thought we would.
This film is nothing but doom and gloom. It’s depressing. It could easily give one a sense of hopelessness. But it is essential viewing for anyone who drinks bottled water on a regular basis.
