Recently Toyota came under scrutiny for the Prius’ problems with the accelerator. Now it’s the car's brakes that get the spotlight.
On February 4th, 2010, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced it is investigating reported braking problems, "momentary loss of braking capability while traveling over an uneven road surface, pothole or bump" with the 3rd generation Prius.
